Nuevas charlas, talleres y cursos brindados por el Centro de asistencia al Suicida

El Centro de Asistencia al Suicida brinda escucha a través de la asistencia telefónica, además de programas que incluyen charlas, talleres y cursos orientados a la prevención del suicidio en tanto es un acto previsible y prevenible.
Una de las señales de alarma extendidas en estos últimos tiempos son las autolesiones o cutting. Se trata de cortes superficiales que no dejan de ser peligrosos por lo cual es necesario tomarlos como pedido de ayuda de una persona que se encuentra en situación de riesgo.
Recientemente, junto a Ana Salas en una importante escuela de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y con la Lic. Fernanda Azcoitia para el personal de salud en el Distrito de Exaltación de la Cruz de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, realizamos capacitaciones para dar herramientas y recursos válidos para afrontar esas y otras temáticas vinculadas al suicidio.
Es importante poder reconocer las diversas manifestaciones que se presentan en las personas que padecen ideación suicida y contar con conocimiento para efectuar intervenciones que permitan evitarlo, como también reparar el sufrimiento luego de un intento fallido. Es decir, hay un proceso previo al intento que nos permite detectar señales para evitarlo o provocar reacciones que generen algún cambio; sobre todo entre los jóvenes que es donde actualmente recae el mayor número de intentos.
